WALL-E

Ethan and I went on a date 4th of July weekend.  We went to the movies and had popcorn, soda, hotdogs; I paid.  It was a great date until he had a meltdown in the car at the end of the date.  Come to think of it, this is how many of my dates ended up when the poor fellow didn’t get what he wanted in the back of the car.;)

Regardless it was a wonderful movie.  I felt truly inspired by it.  Inspired to do what I still don’t know, compost, join some type of recycling initiative, do some type of recycling awareness fund raiser, or maybe just go to work for Pixar.;)  On the way home we drove by the Pixar campus and Ethan’s eyes got all big.  I love how these movies for kids are trying to send good messages to them.  Maybe it is too late for adults to really get it, we better get these next guys to get it.  I am amazed when Ethan comes home from school and tells me what I can and cannot recycle.  Are kids everywhere more aware, or is it just kids in my crazy close to Bezerkeley area?  Anyway, it is nice, and I am uplifted and inspired.  Go see the movie.;)

Every time we drive past Pixar Alan says, “I should apply to work there.” Um, because you have animation skills that I don’t know about? I think everyone here wants to work there. 🙂
